I started my career in 1993 as a software developer & architect and participated in software development for 6-7 years where after I switched over to the role of being an IT project manager and IT business solution architect with special focus on the areas listed below.

 

IT Project & Programme Management

I have +10 years of experience in all phases of IT project & programme management including: Planning, budget, analysis & design, risk & quality management, configuration management, change controll, documentation, specification, communication on all levels. The key to implement a successful IT project depends on both:

  • The ability to understand the business problem/case.
  • A good overview of the technologies and methods that can applied to solve the problem/case.

My main force is the combination of being able to address both of these issues. I am experienced in using different methods for project & programme management (Prince2, ITIL,....).

 

Document management, knowledge management, portals, search & taxonomies

I have been working very intensively within this field since year 2000 and I have been involved in many projects for clients in and outside of Denmark. I was co-founder of Navigo Systems which developed and marketed products for search, taxonomies, KM and text categorization. 

Since 2003, I been involved in quite many projects projects that target the Microsoft SharePoint platform for clients such as TDC, Danske Bank, Yaker Yard, Kroman Reumert, DSB, Danfoss,...

My role covers business analysis, specification, architecture, project management, training as well as customization/development of SharePoint 2007 (MOSS, WSS 3.0) 

 

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) 

Definition of strategies for automating sales, marketing and services. All phases of implementation, training & education , data-migration.

Before 2005 I did not knew very much about CRM but then my former company Navigo Systems launched the product Ontolica for SharePoint (see http://www.ontolica.com). The product was within few months downloaded and used by thousands of clients and we desperately needed a CRM solution to assist with sales force automation and customer service. I got the responsibility of implementing the CRM solution and found out about all the great things CRM can actually do for you.

Recently I have been involved in three other exiting CRM projects as well for CapaSystems, Mondosoft and SurfRay. I am experienced in the process of migrating data between different CRM systems. I am expert in SalesForce and have also obtained good experience with MS CRM 4.0 and SugarCRM.

Communication, documentation & training

I am used to communicate to people on all levels (management, administrators, end users). I have from time to time also been doing seminars and training courses both in Danish and English. Also experienced in writing specifications and solution proposals.
